Mette F. Attends Ukraine Conference in Paris
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is joining other world leaders monday in Paris to discuss the war in Ukraine, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace. The conference, to reaffirm solidarity and determination to end Russia’s aggression, will see at least 20 heads of state, including Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Poland’s President Andrzej Duda. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyj ia opening the conference via video link. The UK is sending its foreign minister, while the US and Canada sent top diplomats. The aim is to to explore ways to effectively support Ukraine, especially as it faces weapon shortages.
