Military Lowers Health Requirements for Conscripts

The Danish Defense has updated its health requirements for conscripts, including no longer rejecting those under 155 cm due to height alone, as reported by DR Nyheder from an internal memo of the Defense Ministry. The changes are considered some of the most extensive ever, with the requirement list spanning over 100 pages. The Body Mass Index (BMI) requirements are now only advisory, and having a large bust cannot be a basis for rejection, indicating outdated standards. Additionally, discriminatory criteria on ‘sexual deviations’ have been removed.
