Danish-Ukrainian conference to boost businesses

A conference in Kyiv, called the Danish-Ukrainian Defence Industry Conference, is set to provide long-term support to strengthen military capacity in Ukraine. Danish and Ukrainian businesses, industry organizations, and politicians are participating, with the event highlighted by a speech from Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen. He emphasized Danish-Ukrainian partnerships aiming to rebuild Ukraine’s defense production, underlining a ten-year security commitment from Denmark to sustain military and economic support in the enduring conflict against Russia. The aim is for defense industry purchases to reflect Ukraine’s specific military needs, says Troels Lund Poulsen. Furthermore, he announced that 40 Danish companies are accompanying him to Ukraine to expedite projects, including the production of drones for Ukraine slated to start later in the year.
