Flying Tiger opens 1000th store in Australia
Flying Tiger Copenhagen has launched their 1000th store worldwide, opening in a shopping center in Sydney, and marking their first location in Australia. The milestone follows their recent first store opening in Vietnam a week prior. CEO Martin Jermiin attributes their success to maintaining a concept of a creative and fun universe where customers can find both unique and practical products at affordable prices. He also highlights the development in key business areas as a differentiation factor from competitors. The Danish chain, present in 39 countries, plans to continue its expansion with upcoming entries into Malaysia and Singapore. It all started with the first store in Copenhagen in 1995, expanded abroad with stores in the UK in 2005, and saw significant ownership changes in recent years, with Treville & Co. taking full ownership in 2021.
