Moderates to keep internal probe results private
Moderate Party leader Lars Løkke Rasmussen has stated that the results of the workplace environment investigations will be kept within the party. Despite a demand for transparency regarding the investigation’s findings, Rasmussen emphasized that the process is internal. The statement was made while Rasmussen is in Cairo meeting with the Egyptian government as the foreign minister. Earlier, several former and current employees reported an environment of bullying and sexism at the Moderate Party to the Danish Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet), which has since conducted an inspection. Its findings remain unclear, and it is uncertain whether the results will be public once complete. Rasmussen has already publicly stated that according to feedback from the authority, there has been no sexism or sexual harassment in the party, though he acknowledges there could still be challenges with bullying and a harsh tone.
