Priority flight booking for Danes in Lebanon

Denmark’s Foreign Ministry has given priority to Danish nationals on the ‘Danish list’ for accessing additional flights from Lebanon by Middle East Airlines. They aim to facilitate departures amidst a reduced number of commercial flights. The initiative is not an evacuation but a commercial solution connecting the airline with travelers desiring to leave. As of Sunday, around 415 people were on the list. Danes in Lebanon must email the ministry for prioritized booking, though not everyone may get a seat. The ministry advises Danes to leave Lebanon promptly due to worsening conditions. The Slovak Ministry is preparing an evacuation for Slovaks and EU citizens, including Danes seeking cooperation, but Denmark hasn’t confirmed its participation.
