Slight progress for government in new poll

The SVM government is still facing sluggish progress in political polls conducted weekly by Voxmeter, even after securing several major political deals in recent weeks. After four weeks, Monday’s poll shows the government finally surpassing one-third voter support, albeit within a margin of statistical uncertainty. Collectively, the three ruling parties would obtain 35.4% of the votes and 63 seats if elections were held the next day, a notable increase from the 58 seats indicated in the previous week but still far lower than the 89 seats won in the 2022 election. The Social Democrats individually are polling at 20.2%, exceeding 20% for the first time in four weeks. The Liberals (Venstre) are at 10.6%, and the Moderates at 4.6%. The poll has a 2.9 percentage point margin of error and was conducted among 1017 representative individuals over 18 years old last week.
