Stine Bosse leaves Norwegian Bank Board

Stine Bosse, elected to the European Parliament for the Moderates, is stepping down from her board position at the Norwegian bank DNB. This decision follows criticism and aims to focus on her duties as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). She indicated that her loyalty to Danish voters should not be questionable, hence her immediate resignation. Criticism had been voiced by MEPs Kira Marie Peter-Hansen (SF) and Anders Vistisen (DF) concerning her concurrent bank board position. Bosse defended her initial decision to stay until spring 2025 but emphasized that diverse backgrounds contribute to the strength of the European Parliament. Bosse had informed DNB that she would not be seeking re-election at the next general assembly.
