Minister mulls extra oversight on police casework

Hummelgaard, taking the accusations seriously, suggests the potential need for additional oversight on case dismissals. He also seeks an assessment from the police on the truth of the allegations. Eight anonymous officers report being instructed to close cases without collecting evidence or conducting standard investigative steps. Parties to the police agreement will attend the upcoming meeting, and several parties have called Hummelgaard to a consultation following DR’s revelations.
