Søe highlights disagreements in Moderates party

Former Moderates member Jeppe Søe doesn’t believe Lars Løkke Rasmussen, the party’s former chairman, is lying when he denies any occurrences of sexism and sexual harassment within the party. Søe suggests that Rasmussen may not be fully aware of everything since the latter speaks with the leadership while Søe has been in discussion with 11 employees. Criticism was directed at the party secretariat’s foundation in 2022, highlighting knowledge gaps in standard employment procedures. Rasmussen insists on a functional secretariat and addresses challenges seriously by implementing a whistleblower system and hiring an occupational psychologist. The Moderates have faced a crisis due to complaints about a hostile work environment, including accusations of bullying and sexism.
