Court Sets 38 Days for Bandidos Case
The court in Helsingør is set to spend 38 days determining if the Bandidos motorcycle club should be permanently banned, according to court president Henrik Johnsen. Compared to an earlier case involving the gang Loyal To Familia (LTF), which took 27 days, this suggests a more substantial case. No dates have been scheduled yet for the proceedings. The case brought forward by the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK) alleges Bandidos has an illegal purpose. The Danish Constitution only allows the formation of associations with legal purposes, and any dissolution must be handled by a court. A pre-trial injunction has already banned Bandidos symbols and regalia, in line with a temporary prohibition issued by NSK, effective until the case’s conclusion.
