Fewer options to leave Lebanon, says ministry
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that there are significantly fewer options to leave Lebanon amid escalating conflict, and advises travelers to book departures with the soonest available means, even if not direct flights. Since Monday, nearly 600 people have died due to Israeli attacks, according to AFP. The Israeli military chief Herzi Halevi has indicated that Israeli soldiers should prepare to possibly enter Lebanon. The Danish ministry is in talks with partners about the situation and reminds citizens that valid travel documentation is necessary. Currently, 360 individuals are registered on the Danish list for Lebanon, which is voluntary for Danish citizens and residents in foreign countries and does not reflect the total number of Danish nationals in Lebanon.
