Danish man to confess to double murder in Malta
A Danish man is ready to confess his involvement in the 2020 murder of two men in Sliema, Malta, according to Maltese media. In his confession, not yet formally addressed by the judiciary, he accepts a 40-year prison term. The victims, Christian Pandolfino and Ivor Maciejowski, were shot in their home during what is believed to be a burglary. Pandolfino was hit five times in the torso and neck, while Maciejowski was shot once in the face. The Dane fled but was detained in Spain ten days later. Two other suspects, from Albania and Serbia, are also charged. The Danish man’s formal confession is expected to be processed in court soon, possibly at a session next week.
