Nordnet approaches half-million Danish clients
Nordnet, an investment platform, is closing in on half a million customers in Denmark, as reported in its second-quarter financial statement. By the end of the quarter, the platform reached 475,000 customers, up from 400,000 a year earlier. Including its operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, the group now has nearly two million clients. The increase in new clients has boosted Nordnet’s earnings in Denmark, with a second-quarter operating income of SEK 263 million (approximately DKK 168 million), a 39% rise from the same period in 2023. Nordnet’s CEO, Lars-Åke Norling, highlighted a strong quarter with steady customer growth and savings, a high product development pace, and record-breaking financial performance. The total saved capital increased by 25% over the past year to SEK 252 billion (around DKK 161 billion).
