Zelenskyj: Donated jets to be in Russia soon

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyj suggests at a Stockholm press conference that Western weapons like F-16 jets could soon be used on Russian soil. Attending a defense summit in Sweden, Zelenskyj awaits Danish F-16s for Ukraine this summer, with Denmark’s defense minister approving their use against Russian targets. However, Danish PM Mette Frederiksen didn’t echo this at the summit. The topic of using donated weapons in Russia, compliant with international law, is contentious, with France, Germany, and the USA also permitting their weapons’ use in Russia. Conversely, Belgium restricts their F-16s to Ukrainian territory. Zelenskyj, noting slow training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16s, urges a review of training missions involving allied nations.
