Two women detained for cocaine package from US
Two women were remanded in custody on Wednesday for allegedly attempting to acquire a package containing five kilos of cocaine sent from the USA to Denmark. Although they denied the allegations, the judge determined a founded suspicion of their guilt. Police had replaced the cocaine with another substance before the package reached a parcel shop in Hvidovre. There’s a risk that if released, they might interfere with the investigation or flee. Both women, aged 22 and 23, are from the UK and now detained for 13 days. Their involvement in the case, according to police, was in collaboration with other unidentified accomplices.
