Outer walls collapse at scorched Børsen building

The outer wall of the burned Børsen building has collapsed, along with nearby scaffolding. No injuries are reported, with workforce accounted for, but unauthorized individuals might have accessed the site unbeknownst to the Emergency Services. Approximately half of the facade is destroyed, and the remaining part is unstable with potential for further collapse. Containment measures will be reassessed, and emergency vehicles have responded with Knippelsbro closed. The fire at Børsen triggered an alarm on Tuesday morning, leading to the spire’s collapse amidst the flames. The emergency operations continue to focus on extinguishing the fire and preserving the structure.
