PostNord records major loss in 2023

PostNord faced a difficult year, posting a 592 million SEK pre-tax loss for 2023. This deficit includes a substantial 900 million SEK writedown in a Norwegian subsidiary. Despite these losses, PostNord Denmark lessened its shortfall from 286 million SEK in 2022 to 168 million SEK last year. Mail volumes decreased by 12% in the last quarter, yet the Q4 period showed the first operational profit growth since the pandemic for the group.
