Tivoli probes misconduct in youth orchestra
Tivoli launched an investigation into a misconduct case within its children’s orchestra, Tivoli-Garden, after accusations that a male employee sent intimate messages to underage girls. Despite management’s awareness, the employee remained in his position, leading to an inquiry on the adequacy of the situation’s handling, advised by Kromann Reumert lawyers. Tivoli’s Cultural Director, Frederik Wiedemann, emphasized the seriousness of the issue and the involvement of external assistance for proper investigation. The organization has not received comments from orchestra leader Quincy Alexander Von Lippert or the implicated employee. Tivoli-Garden serves as an elite year-round music school for 100 children, characterized by distinctive bear fur hats and red and white uniforms.
