Two young swedish girls suspected of murder plot

Two Swedish girls, aged 14 and 15, were implicated by police in a plot to kill a man in Herning, Denmark, last year. One girl is too young to prosecute, but authorities want to extradite the now 16-year-old to face trial in Denmark. Prosecutor Christian Skov Poulsen seeks a court order to initiate extradition proceedings. The 16-year-old is charged with attempted murder, having arrived with a pistol intending to kill a man, but the attempt failed as the target wasn’t present. This case involves “crime as a service,” where young Swedes are recruited for crimes in Denmark. A 28-year-old man admitted involvement and is in custody, facing potential charges. A 22-year-old Swedish man is also charged with recruiting teenagers for attempted murders.
