Søe blames leadership after party firings
Former member of the Danish party Moderaterne, Jeppe Søe, criticized the party’s leadership following the firing of several employees from the political department at Christiansborg. This action comes after reports emerged that the party’s leadership lost trust in all staff members of the said department. In his statement, Søe argued that it’s the leadership that’s problematic for the work environment, not the employees. The dismissals have been linked to previous complaints submitted to the Labor Inspection regarding bullying, sexism, and poor leadership within the party’s secretariat. Søe, who had already left the party due to disagreements over the leadership’s handling of these issues, stated the decision to leave was correct. Recently, Moderaterne offered severance packages to the secretariat staff, but it’s unclear how many accepted the offer.
