
‘Fuld af kærlighed’ wins big at Robert Awards
The film ‘Fuld af kærlighed’ (Full of Love), directed by Christina Rosendahl, was honored with the Robert Award for Best Danish Film, reflecting its plot which is based on Rosendahl’s own upbringing and depicts a middle-class family with an alcoholic father. Additionally, Christina Rosendahl was recognized as Best Director. Actors Lars Ranthe and Viilbjørk Malling Agger earned accolades for their leading roles, while the film also won awards for Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Screenplay. Meanwhile, ‘Den sorte svane’ (The Black Swan) triumphed as Best TV Series, and the Danish-Iranian director Ali Abbasi’s ‘The Apprentice’ received the award for Best English-language Film. The event took place at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center and is considered the Danish equivalent of the Oscars, with winners chosen by the over 2900 members of the Danish Film Academy.
