
Netcompany hires top Danish diplomat
Danish IT company Netcompany appoints former senior official Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, as per their press release. Knudsen previously served as the Deputy Secretary-General at OECD since 2019 and formerly was the department chief in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Netcompany’s CEO André Rogaczewski views the hiring as a significant move to enhance Europe’s competitiveness, autonomy, and cohesion through responsible digitalization. Rogaczewski highlights Knudsen’s extensive international experience and dedication as an ideal fit for the company, which shares a vision of a robust, modern, sustainable, democratic, and digitalized Europe. Knudsen is enthusiastic to apply his OECD digitalization focus to Europe’s digital needs and sees digitalization as key to addressing future budget demands from demographic, climate, and security perspectives. Having become an ambassador at 37, Knudsen brings a wealth of experience from various diplomatic and political roles.
