Wanted 32-year-old Dane arrested in Morocco

A 32-year-old Danish man, on the run since 2017 and leader of the Casablanca network with connections to Morocco, was arrested in Casablanca following an international arrest warrant issued by Danish authorities. He was under Danish police investigation related to drug cases and was most recently sought in January over a murder linked to a narcotics smuggling conflict between networks. During his arrest, police confiscated cannabis and a counterfeit German passport. The suspect is now in Moroccan custody awaiting a judicial assessment, while Interpol in Rabat has been requested to inform Danish authorities about the arrest and potential extradition. Danish police have not yet confirmed the arrest. This event is not the first instance of Denmark’s international arrest warrant leading to an arrest in Morocco.
