The fire at Børsen has sparked concern over potential structural collapse, with its iconic dragon spire lost, deeply affecting the city’s heritage. Børsen, built from 1619 to 1623, symbolizes Christian IV’s rule and was undergoing a major restoration, expected to finish by 2029, covering its copper roof, bricks, and sandstone adornments.
