Emergency crews recalled from Børsen again

The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department withdrew their crew from the Børsen fire site again, as shared on social media. Firefighters had left Monday night, intending to monitor the site periodically, but a flare-up of embers prompted their return at 1 AM Tuesday. They remain poised to act due to lingering hotspots in a wooden beam linked to the structure’s intact sections. The changed response reflects high caution, states operations leader Frank Trier Mikkelsen. Damage service now manages the site with their own fire watch. Tuesday’s situation mirrors Monday’s, but with better coordination on when emergency services are needed.
