Danish case leads to global incest arrests
A Danish case involving a former doctor accused of molesting his children has led to similar arrests internationally, it was revealed at the Hillerød Court. Initially resistant to police during the investigation, the man later cooperated and disclosed information on an international pedophile network he was involved in. This cooperation allowed the police to relay details to countries including France, Australia, England, Scotland, and the USA, leading to arrests for child abuse. The Danish man faces 97 charges, mostly concerning severe abuse and incest, and has admitted to multiple offenses, though he denies many rape charges. Approximately 2000 videos and photos were discovered in his possession when arrested in December 2022. The case prompted closed doors during the defendant’s testimony to protect the involved children. The trial is scheduled over five days.
