Fasar Abrar Raja held in custody for four weeks
Fasar Abrar Raja, a 49-year-old well-known figure from the TV2 documentary series ‘Den sorte svane,’ has been detained pre-trial for extensive financial crimes, including tax fraud involving around 30 million kroner. He faces charges of both tax evasion and violence. He denies all charges. Currently, he is to be transferred to a secure psychiatric facility. Alongside Raja, a 38-year-old accountant is also under arrest for similar charges and has been granted anonymity. A third individual is involved but not yet in custody. Efforts by Raja’s defense to prohibit the mention of his name in association with the case were denied by the judge.
