Fasar from ‘The Black Swan’ released
Rock musician Fasar Abrar Raja, featured in the TV 2 documentary series ‘The Black Swan,’ was released from a psychiatric ward on Tuesday evening, reports his defense lawyer, Mette Maria Lorentzen according to Ekstra Bladet. Raja and his accountant had been in custody since October 2, accused of tax and VAT fraud involving approximately 30 million kroner. Raja is charged with serious financial crimes, including tax fraud, as well as several offenses related to violence and threats. He denies all the charges. The detention, due to expire that Tuesday, had previously been voluntarily extended until November 27. Raja has a history of criminal convictions and mental health evaluations, leading to his detention in a psychiatric facility instead of a jail. Four men are charged in this case, with the others under a name ban. Raja’s previous lawyer, Lise Roulund, also faces charges related to the undercover operation depicted in ‘The Black Swan’ documentary.
