Police Report May Target Nordic Waste
A police complaint against the soil remediation company Nordic Waste may be in the works, with the municipality of Randers as the originator, according to the tech newspaper Ingeniøren. This information emerges from a legal memorandum by the law firm Codex, received by the municipality shortly before Christmas. The memorandum advises the municipality to file a police report to clarify if Nordic Waste and its management have failed in their responsibilities regarding a landslide, which could lead to significant pollution. A decision on whether to file a complaint has not yet been made. Nordic Waste has engaged the law firm Gorissen Federspiel to assess its responsibilities in the matter, and their view differs significantly.
