Argentina

It will take another round of elections before Argentina’s next president is found. With 76 percent of the votes counted, right-wing Javier Milei received 30.51 percent of the vote, while the current economy minister of Argentina, Sergio Massa, received 35.9 percent. It requires 45 percent of the vote, or 40 percent as well as a lead of more than 10 percent down to number two, if one of the candidates is to be elected in the first round of voting. Argentina will go to the polls again in the second round of voting on November 19. /ritzau/AFP/
