Modi’s party forms new indian government

Following the electoral victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in coalition with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), has established a new government. They collectively chose Modi as their leader, affirming their commitment to serve India’s impoverished, women, youth, farmers, and oppressed citizens. The NDA secured 293 seats, with BJP obtaining 240, falling short of a majority by 32 seats, marking the first time BJP lacks a majority under Modi since 2014. Hence, Modi sought alliances to govern. This victory marks Modi’s third term as Prime Minister, a historic achievement as stated by Modi on social media. Since Modi’s first term in 2014, India has seen rapid economic growth and substantial infrastructure investment. Modi is expected to be sworn in as Prime Minister on Saturday, according to Indian media reports.
