Netto ends partnership with Copenhagen Pride

Netto has halted its partnership with Copenhagen Pride due to recent unrest surrounding the organization, confirmed by Salling Group’s communication director Henrik Vinther Olesen to B.T. The decision comes after the event recently prompted partners to position on the Israel-Hamas conflict. Several companies have withdrawn support, including Maersk, Novo Nordisk, Nykredit, and DFDS. Following a controversial statement made on February 14, Copenhagen Pride clarified three weeks later that they had not intended to take sides in the conflict. Lars Henriksen has stepped down as the political spokesperson for Copenhagen Pride following the controversy.
