Rockwool’s sales surge in Russia
Rockwool remains active in Russia after Ukraine’s invasion, reporting significant sales growth there. Notably, in Eastern Europe, including Russia, revenue hit 374 million euros, up by 25%. Overall, Rockwool increased its revenue by 8%, reaching 1.9 billion euros. Despite criticism from Ukrainian anti-corruption officials for supporting the Russian economy and war industry, Rockwool maintains a passive presence in Russia, only owning operations without material imports or exports. Moreover, Rockwool donates 13.4 million euros for Ukraine’s reconstruction, evidencing its complex position amidst the ongoing conflict.
