Section removed from upcoming Diez book

Katherine Diez’s book ‘In Her Own Bosom’ will have a section removed in its next edition, confirmed by People’s, the publishing company. The section involves former P1-host Mads Aagaard Danielsen, who was fired from DR for cases of offensive behavior in 2020. This decision comes despite the publisher’s statement that removing the passage is neither necessary nor required. Diez’s book touches on the life circumstances leading to the plagiarism scandal she was involved in earlier that year, which originated on Reddit. Berlingske, Diez’s former employer, found instances of plagiarism in her texts. Due to high demand, the publisher announced a second print run only a week after release. A passage mentioning an alleged rumor, which Aagaard denies and has not been proven, will be omitted from future editions.
