The SVM government is pushing Denmark forward a little. But certainly not to the extent that the government leadership’s own rhetoric and problem analysis dictates. Therefore, the personal tax proposal, which Børsen revealed on Monday, looks like a big missed opportunity. Although tax cuts on labour are a sensible step forward, they are marred by the completely meaningless toptop tax.
