Kolding harbor scrap fire under control
On Tuesday, six people sustained minor injuries from an explosion during a fire at Kolding Harbor according to Sydøstjyllands Politi. Three were taken to the hospital for checks. The fire, which started in scrap material at 11:44 AM, was brought under control by the afternoon, stated Ronni Petersen of TrekantBrand. High flames and thick smoke visible throughout the city were reported, and Jens Holms Vej was closed for a few hours. The area was sealed off, with no risk of the fire spreading. The emergency services prepare to stay throughout the night, and police will investigate the site once it has cooled down.
