87% vote yes for public sector agreement

A resounding 87 percent of votes were in favor of the public sector agreements, with a 66 percent voter turnout. FH Chairman Morten Skov Christiansen highlighted reasonable salary increases designed to offset the gap caused by recent years’ high inflation. Among the 421,822 eligible voters, the highest approval rates were seen in organizations such as DM, Danish Dental Hygienists, Danish School Leaders, and Danish Social Counsellors, where the approval exceeded 96 percent. Lower satisfaction was noted from the Danish Association of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists and the trade union 3F with 65.5 percent and 75.3 percent approval, respectively. Mona Striib, chair of the Negotiation Community, expressed pride in securing real wage growth and improvements in flexibility, working environment, the Danish model, and parental leave.
