Radicals Elect Poul Arne Bødker as New Chairman

Poul Arne Bødker has been chosen as the new chairman for the Danish political party, the Radikale Venstre, during an extraordinary general meeting, the party informs. The position was vacated by Mikkel Irminger Sarbo, who resigned in January amid allegations of harassment. The chairman position is distinct from the political leader role held by Martin Lidegaard, who is more visible and sets the daily political agenda along with the parliamentary group. Kim Mandix has been elected as vice-chairman, replacing Kathrine Olldag, who also stepped down with Sarbo. Both Bødker and Mandix were elected unopposed, each receiving 226 votes with two blank votes reported. Bødker has been part of the main board since 2016.
