Royal Gift List Unveiled

Denmark’s royal family has published an official gift list for the first time, covering items received from February 7 to June 30, but excluding gifts from the January throne change. The list omits gifts of ‘modest economic value’, a threshold aligning with Norway and the UK’s practices. Personal gifts from family and friends are also not listed. The royals generally do not accept gifts from private companies. The list features various items including a rain jacket and fleece sweater gifted to the royal couple on their Greenland trip, as well as an Indian silk tie and books about Denmark during the occupation given to Crown Prince Christian. The royal family states that moving forward, gifts will only be accepted during official events and will be disclosed in their annual report.
