Police arrest notorious fraudster

A 45-year-old woman, widely recognized for her fraudulent activities and wanted by police since July 11th, was arrested, as stated by the Copenhagen Police on a Sunday evening. The woman, who is guilty of numerous cases of fraud and embezzlement, failed to appear at three court sessions intended for the sentencing phase. The crimes were committed across the country, especially in the capital region and on Funen. Having been convicted in January of a total of 133 instances of severe fraud and embezzlement, involving both individuals and companies, she had persuaded people to invest in bitcoins that she pretended to sell. The court had scheduled three meetings to determine her punishment, but she did not appear. She claimed absence from court due to illness and has maintained her innocence in the interview with Ekstra Bladet.
