Founder of Lauritz facing company reconstruction

Blixtz Holding and Blixtz Ejendomme, owned by Bengt Sundstrøm, co-founder of Lauritz.com, are undergoing reconstruction. This process was initiated by Sundstrøm in response to the bankruptcy of Lauritz.com, leaving various creditors with hundreds of millions in claims. The outcome for creditors hoping to recover funds largely depends on the sale of the French wine chateau Vignelaure, held by a subsidiary of Blixtz Holding. Despite being on the market for several years by Sundstrøm, no buyer has been secured. Restructurer Henrik Selchau Poulsen is now tasked with selling the estate, broadening the search through a larger network of real estate agents. Proceeds from the sale will primarily go to bondholders with claims on the property. Should there be any surplus after bondholders are compensated, it would then go to Sundstrøm’s holding company.
