Man charged for 1990 murder of Hanne With
A 54-year-old man is charged with the murder of 23-year-old Hanne With, who was killed on New Year’s night in 1990. Copenhagen Police announced this in a press release on Tuesday. The suspect was arrested on February 6, and was remanded in custody for four weeks the next day by a judge at the Copenhagen City Court. He has remained in custody since, with police focusing on additional technical evidence and gathering witness statements. A new breakthrough has occurred, according to Special Prosecutor Søren Harbo. The man pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance in February.
