Bikers rally for club rights in Denmark
Hundreds of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts, including members from the groups Hells Angels and Bandidos, gathered for a demonstration organized by Bikerfonden in Copenhagen and Aarhus on Sunday morning, Ekstra Bladet reported. The peaceful protest, which according to Bikerfonden’s website took place from 11 am to 2 pm, focused on the right to association and expression of collective interests. The demonstrators also opposed the closure and criminalization of clubs and their meeting places, as well as complicated regulations concerning road inspections and motorcycle confiscation. Copenhagen Police confirmed that the demonstration was legally registered and estimated the attendance at about 120-130 motorcycles. The number of participants in Aarhus was unclear.
