Danish bus driver dies after crash in Flensburg
A 61-year-old Danish bus driver passed away after losing consciousness and causing an accident on Tuesday afternoon on the route between Flensburg and Sønderborg. The driver was employed by the bus company Umove, and the regional manager Johnny Bek expressed deep sorrow over the incident. The crash occurred around 2:40 PM when the bus hit an Audi, pushing it into the opposite lane, and then collided with a Mercedes van before stopping on the sidewalk after hitting a streetlamp. The driver was resuscitated and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died. Two drivers involved were also hospitalized; one suffered severe injuries and the other minor. Three passengers were on the bus, two experienced shock and minor cuts.
