Danes can now carry Google’s AI in their pockets

The availability of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is continuously increasing, and Google now offers Danes the ability to download its AI model, Gemini, onto Android phones and tablets. Previously unavailable in Europe, the app was released in Danish on Wednesday. Google Denmark’s communications head, Jesper Vangkilde, mentioned that after extensive testing and user feedback, they aim to deliver the best user experience. An iOS version is expected in the Apple Store within two weeks. While Android users can access Gemini overlaying on their screens in other apps, iOS users will switch to Gemini or Google apps for parallel functionality. Beyond ideation and content creation, Gemini provides integration with popular Google services for analyzing YouTube videos, Google Maps directions, or summarizing unread Gmails, standing out in its field.
