Denmark repatriates six F-35 jets from US base

A majority in the Danish Parliament agrees to repatriate six F-35 fighter aircraft currently used for training in the US. This decision comes after delays in the delivery of new Danish F-35 fighters. The Defense Ministry announced this in a press release, indicating a proactive response to potential delays. Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen noted it was a positive development that a solution had been found to minimize the impact of the manufacturer’s delays. The delivery of the new F-35s has been reported to be delayed several times already.
