TV 2 halts house band after sexism doc

Following allegations of misconduct during the making of the show ‘Toppen af poppen,’ TV 2 suspends performances by ‘The Antonelli Orchestra.’ Program director Dorthe Tirstrup has called for an in-depth investigation by production company Mastiff into the extent of the offensive culture on the show, not limited to the behavior of bandleader Claes Antonsen. Antonsen has apologized for his ‘crossing-the-line and sexist’ language on Facebook and informed concert promoters and musicians via email of his departure from the band. Until the inquiry’s outcome, the orchestra will not appear on TV 2’s channels, including the upcoming season of ‘Vild med Dans.’
