Law firm dismisses staff after TV documentary

Following the documentary ‘The Black Swan’ by TV 2, law firm Horten has released three employees and a partner and is resetting an entire department. The firm announced in a press release that this stems from the uncertainty resulting from their former partner and attorney Nicolai Dyhr’s behavior featured in the program. Although Horten implemented stricter guidelines for handling insolvency cases post-documentary, it did not allay concerns about the department’s historical adherence to professional standards and values. Dyhr, shown advising criminals on fraud in secret recordings, denied wrongdoing despite his firing. New partner Troels Tuxen is tasked with restoring trust, and with existing staff tied to Dyhr’s methods, cases will be unwound by new liquidators and may continue to receive media attention. Horten chose not to comment further on the matter.
