Copenhagen Airport loses Airbus 380 licence

Copenhagen Airport has lost its licence to accept the Airbus A380, described as the world’s largest passenger aircraft, according to the aviation media Check-in.dk. The licence has been stopped due to new  EU legislation dealing with larger aircraft. According to the Danish Transport Authority, it will require some “technical adjustments” to the permit that the airport had until recently, if it is to get it back. “This is now being corrected in cooperation with the Danish Transport Authority,” Copenhagen Airport told the media. If all goes according to plan, the permit will be back within a few months. /ritzau/
